Relevant du directeur ou de la directrice, relations publiques et communications, le conseiller ou la conseillere en chef, communications de marque elaborera et mettra en oeuvre la strategie de la marque principale pour l'organisation afin de presenter une histoire coherente et evocatrice sur le leadership de McKesson Canada dans le milieu de la sante.


La personne retenue collaborera avec divers intervenants du siege social et des unites commerciales, y compris les equipes de marketing et de commercialisation, pour concevoir des plans de communication strategiques cle en main, conformes aux priorites commerciales de l'organisation. Ce poste convient idealement a une personne tres performante, au niveau eleve de proactivite et possedant une experience eprouvee dans la gestion de campagnes de relations avec les medias couronnees de succes - de la planification a l'execution.

Conditions de travail :

Il s'agit d'un poste hybride. La personne titulaire du poste devra travailler sur place au moins deux jours par semaine. Le teletravail est possible les autres jours, en fonction des besoins de l'equipe et de l'organisation.

Responsabilites specifiques



50 % redaction strategique et execution du contenu 20 % conception creative et exercice de visualisation 30 % strategie

Conception strategique de la marque :

De pair avec le directeur ou la directrice, collaborer avec l'equipe de haute direction pour definir et peaufiner la strategie de la marque principale en assurant sa concordance avec les objectifs globaux de McKesson Canada.

Positionnement de la marque :

Elaborer et exprimer un positionnement de la marque clair et captivant qui trouve echo chez nos differentes parties prenantes, y compris nos clients, nos partenaires et nos employes.

Campagnes de marketing integrees :

Diriger la planification et l'execution de campagnes de marketing integrees qui rehaussent la marque principale en tirant profit des medias traditionnels et numeriques (commandites, campagnes numeriques).

Creation et gestion de contenu :

Superviser la creation d'un contenu captivant et uniforme pour la marque, notamment des messages cles, des elements visuels et des initiatives narratives. Ceci comprend des outils cles comme le discours narratif annuel de l'organisation, les presentations PowerPoint et les descriptions, les videos de l'organisation et les publications dans les medias sociaux en appui au positionnement de la marque.

Creation du contenu pour les evenements :

Assumer la responsabilite du contenu et de la gestion de projet lors de la conference nationale de leadership et d'autres evenements attribues.

Collaboration interfonctionnelle :

Travailler etroitement avec divers services, tels que les ventes, la conception de produits et le service a la clientele, pour assurer l'uniformite de la marque et la conformite de toutes les communications externes.

Directives de la marque :

Tenir et mettre a jour les directives de la marque pour assurer la conformite dans l'utilisation de elements a tous les points de service. Faire evoluer les outils de la marque, p. ex., les videos, la galerie de photos, les modeles de presentation PPT, les modeles de note de service.

Etudes et analyses de marche :

Mener des etudes et des analyses de marche pour comprendre la perception de la marque, pour identifier des occasions et pour evaluer l'efficacite des initiatives liees a la marque.

Engagement des parties prenantes :

Etablir des relations solides avec les parties prenantes a l'interne et a l'externe, dont le marketing, pour faire progresser les initiatives liees a la marque.

Exigences minimales



Un baccalaureat en communications, en relations publiques, en marketing, en journalisme ou dans un domaine connexe De 7 a 10 ans d'experience progressive en communications de marque, en communications d'entreprise ou en relations publiques

Job Summary




Reporting to the Director of PR and Communications, the Senior Advisor, Brand Communications will be responsible for development, strategy and execution of master brand strategy for the company helping to tell a cohesive and strong story about McKesson Canada's leadership in the healthcare space.


The successful candidate must work with multiple corporate and business unit stakeholders, including business marketing teams, to develop strategic go-to-market communication plans that are aligned with the company's business priorities. This role is best suited for a high achiever with a high level of proactivity and a proven track-record of managing successful media relations campaigns from planning to execution.

Work Arrangement

: This is a hybrid position requiring candidates to work on-site at least 2 days per week. The remaining days may be worked remotely, subject to team and business needs.

Specific Responsibilities

Brand Strategy Development

: Working with Director, collaborate with the senior leadership team to define and refine the Master Brand strategy, ensuring alignment with McKesson Canada's overall business objectives.

Brand Positioning

: Develop and articulate a clear and compelling brand positioning that resonates with our diverse stakeholders, including customers, partners, and employees.

Integrated Marketing Campaigns

: Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that elevate the Master Brand, leveraging both traditional and digital channels. (corporate sponsorship, digital campaigns).

Content Creation and Management

: Oversee the creation of engaging and consistent brand content, including key messaging, visual assets, and storytelling initiatives. This includes key tools: annual corporate narrative, corporate PowerPoint and descriptions, corporate video and social media posts that support brand building.

Event Content Creation

: Lead content role and project management of National Leadership Conference and other events as assigned.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

: Work closely with various departments, such as Sales, Product Development, and Customer Service, to ensure brand consistency and alignment in all external communications.

Brand Guidelines

: Maintain and evolve brand guidelines to ensure consistent use of brand elements across all touchpoints. Evolve brand tools association i.e. video, photo gallery, ppt templates, memo templates.

Market Research and Analysis

: Conduct market research and analysis to understand brand perception, identify opportunities, and measure the effectiveness of brand initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement

: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including marketing, to drive brand initiatives forward.

Minimum Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field. 7-10 years of progressive experience in brand communications, corporate communications, or public relations.

Key Competencies



Proven ability to think strategically and execute effectively, with strong project management skills. Demonstrated creativity and innovation in brand communications and campaign development. Experience crafting and implementing integrated brand strategies across multiple channels. Adept at working with senior executives in large, complex corporate environments. Familiarity with the healthcare and pharmacy sectors, particularly within regulated industries, is a strong asset. Bilingualism in French and English is considered an advantage. Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities. Skilled at identifying compelling news angles within a corporate context. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all communications. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Proven ability to work cross-functionally and foster collaboration across departments. Discreet and professional when handling confidential or sensitive information. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Self-motivated and proactive, with strong prioritization and time management skills. Comfortable working under tight deadlines and adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
