Our client, a leader in the oil and gas industry, is seeking a Sr. Advisor, Business Continuity Management to join their team. As a Sr. Advisor, you will be part of the Emergency Management & Business Continuity (EMBC) program supporting various teams across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Sr. Advisor, Business Continuity ManagementLocation: Calgary, AB:

• Support the continuous development and improvement of the Business Continuity Program.
• Implement the Business Continuity Program at the corporate and field level, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across all enabling functions and entities.
• Maintain, update, and improve Business Continuity Plans, including Business Impact Assessments (BIA), Business Resumption Plans, and Disaster Recovery Plans.
• Lead the design, scheduling, and facilitation of business continuity training sessions, drills, and exercises.
• Work closely with corporate emergency management colleagues to enhance the delivery of the BC program and ensure alignment with corporate standards and practices.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in developing, managing, and contributing to Business Continuity Plans and exercises, particularly in the oil and gas, petrochemical, pipeline, HAZMAT transport, or rail industries.
• 3-5 years of experience as an active member of an Incident Management Team.
• Incident Command System Certification (ICS-300).
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the oil and gas industry, particularly AER and ISO 22301.
