The Role

Cameco has an exciting opportunity to join the Internal Audit Services team, comprising Internal Audit, Conduct and Ethics, and Corporate Privacy, in a key senior administrative support role. Reporting to the Chief, Internal Audit Services and Corporate Ethics, you will provide full administrative support to the Internal Audit Services team, while displaying confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism.

In this role, you will:

  • Anticipate and provide comprehensive support to the various and complex needs of the Internal Audit Services team
  • Effectively draft, proofread and prepare a variety of communication materials, with advanced proficiency in editing material for clarity, accuracy, and conciseness, with a high regard for attention to detail
  • Assembling and reporting of department information
  • Calendar management
  • Coordinate and organize meetings, including the preparation of meeting agendas and taking minutes
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, which would include flight bookings, accommodations, transportation and preparing travel itineraries
  • Maintain file management systems, both electronic and manual
Required:
  • Business or administrative diploma
  • Seven to ten years of relevant corporate office experience
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate information effectively to various stakeholders
  • Knowledge and experience in minute taking and synthesizing information, including capturing action items
  • Ability to independently evaluate, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks to meet changing deadlines, while effectively responding to numerous requests and diverse situations
  • Superior problem solving and organization skills, with proficient ability to streamline tasks and prioritize workload.
  • Advanced competence in the use of specific Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and calendar management tools
  • Knowledge and experience in records information management programs
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, handling highly confidential information with discretion
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered
Recommended:
  • SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Adobe Acrobat, and Nitro Pro experience
  • Experience working in a publicly traded company and/or professional service firm (e.g. legal, accounting)
