Job Overview: We\'re seeking an experienced, motivated Senior Accounting Manager to oversee our entire accounting department, including the management of our subsidiaries\' financial operations. You\'ll ensure financial reporting accuracy, compliance, and optimization, and play a pivotal role in our company\'s ongoing success. Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations for LDS and subsidiaries
- Oversee financial reporting, consolidation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations
- Implement robust internal financial controls and procedures
- Prepare budgets and financial forecasts with precision and foresight
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and proactively address potential issues
- Communicate financial results and actionable recommendations to senior management
- Collaborate with other departments to drive financial operations and support company growth
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of growth and excellence
- Minimum Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or equivalent professional accounting designation highly preferred
- 5+ years in a senior accounting role, including experience managing accounting for parent and subsidiary companies
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Superb communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Compliance of US and Canada experience
- Experience with Digital Marketing finance data is a huge plus
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency
- You\'re looking for someone to give you direction for what to do. There will be little to none of that! Instead, this person will be advising senior management
- You don\'t like to generate new processes or innovate on existing ones
