a division of Homestar Group, has specialized for over 20 years in spray foam, cellulose, and fiberglass insulation, serving residential and commercial projects across Southern New Brunswick.

We are looking for a

qualified Spray Foam Technician

to join our Huff N Puff crew. The ideal candidate will have

proven spray-foam application experience

and be fully capable of operating, starting up, troubleshooting, and maintaining spray foam equipment, ensuring safe and high-quality insulation installations.

What You'll Do:

Perform spray foam insulation (open-cell and closed-cell) installations in residential and commercial properties following company process: surface preparation, foam application, expansion, curing, trimming, and finishing. Operate spray foam rigs, proportioners, pumps, hoses, spray guns and related equipment; perform machine startup and diagnostics to ensure proper functioning. Prepare substrates: clean, prime, and ready surfaces to guarantee proper adhesion and optimal insulation results. Ensure safe handling of chemicals, follow PPE protocols, ventilation standards, and adherence to health, safety and building regulations. Monitor foam application and quality to meet insulation performance, energy-efficiency, and building-code standards. Work alongside team members to deliver projects on time, maintain clean and organized job sites, and uphold company's standards of craftsmanship. When needed, assist with or perform related insulation work (fiberglass, cellulose, batt) to serve client needs across different insulation systems.

What We're Looking For:

Required:

Demonstrated previous experience applying spray foam insulation (both open-cell and closed-cell) on residential and/or commercial jobs.

Proficiency in operating spray foam equipment (rigs, proportioners, spray guns, etc.) and capability to perform machine startup and diagnostics. Thorough knowledge of spray foam processes -- surface prep, mixing, application, curing, finishing -- and insulation best practices. Strong understanding of insulation standards, building codes, and quality control. Commitment to safety: experience with PPE, chemical handling, ventilation and safe work practices.

Preferred:

Experience with other insulation materials or systems (fiberglass blown-in, cellulose, batt). Ability to work independently and as part of a crew. Clean driver's license and comfort traveling. Physical ability to handle manual labour, lift materials/equipment, and work in attics, crawlspaces, or other confined spaces.
