Position Summary

In support of the Mission and Vision of Sybridge Technologies, the

Mold Spotteris responsible to perform all spotting duties. Reporting to the

Mold Making Leader

, the

Mold Spotter ensures safety and quality is a priority each and every time while also achieving time allowances for each job assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

Obtain sizes to fit components (fit slides, size jibs) Operate a surface grinder Ability to use air grinding tools by hand to create a perfect seal between mating parts/components Ability to use hydraulics Ability to perform some handwork duties (Master pockets, stone parting lines) Ability to perform minor welding procedures Ability to understand type of material properties (Flashpoint) Ability to understand customer standards Some mold assembly and disassembly Operate an Overhead Crane

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Knowledge of mold functions (undercut/crash conditions) Ability to perform under pressure and work independently. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines as required. Ability to ensure quality standards are met. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Minimal 2 years mold spotting experience Welding experience is an asset

This position will require kneeling, bending, standing for prolonged periods of time. Lifting of items weighing less then 35 lbs by hand or using a crane to assist.
