Job Description
Lubec Construction Ltd. is a fast-growing Construction Management Company with office located in Langford, British Columbia that specializes in multi family construction across Vancouver Island. We are founded and structured on a model which affords us a greater capacity to respond quickly to the needs of our clients; resolve issues with minimal to no interruption in the construction schedule, and complete projects that exceed our clients' expectations. As we expand, we are looking for a dynamic, organized, and hardworking skilled laborer to work on our construction sites. This position is considered full-time and a permanent position.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist site staff with day to day tasks. Traffic Control as required on construction sites. Provide general clean up and ongoing organization of work areas. Assist sub trades as directed by Lubec management staff. Assist Lubec's excavation division including dewatering, underground utilities, backfilling and excavation. Act as a spotter and or flagger for heavy equipment operators. Abide by Lubec's safety policy. Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to lift minimum 50lbs. Ability to be on your feet for entire shift. Ability to comprehend tasks given and execute. Must have positive attitude and the ability to work as a team. Traffic Control Certification is an asset Must have vehicle and valid drivers license. Previous construction laboring experience is required. Must be self motivated while maintaining an open mind to learn.
