JOB SUMMARY

As a Splicer, you will play a key role in the timely and accurate production of high-quality cables and related products. You will work closely with your team in the production area, performing cable splicing, machine operation, quality checks, and general factory labour while following strict safety and production standards.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Proficiently splice cable and operate the cable press machine in accordance with health & safety policies Measure, cut, roll, assemble, and inspect cables, chains, and accessories to meet customer specifications Maintain accurate documentation, inventories, and ensure workstations are clean and organized Perform thorough quality control checks throughout the production process Follow all company policies and regulatory compliance procedures Report safety hazards or incidents promptly and help maintain a safe work environment Perform additional tasks as needed based on business needs

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred Previous cable splicing or rigging experience is a strong asset Comfortable using measuring tools and interpreting technical drawings/instructions Solid math skills and attention to detail Ability to lift and handle up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive manual tasks Manual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn and grow A true team player with a positive attitude Reliable transportation is an asset due to evening hours
