About the Role:

As a Speech-Language Pathologist at Oakwood Academy, your role will include conducting assessments, delivering individualized therapy, meeting with Parents and/or providing consultation with Developmental Therapists and Teachers and within a dynamic school-based setting. Therapy sessions are in a Developmental Framework, functional, and collaborative, with a focus on supporting students' communication and language goals in social and academic contexts.

Your day-to-day may include reviewing goals and documentation, writing progress reports, attending case conferences, and supporting interprofessional planning for students across a range of developmental profiles--including those with autism, ADHD, language delays, motor speech disorders, and other developmental or learning disorders.

Caseloads and hours are determined based on the needs of the students and families we serve during daytime school hours Monday- Friday. Opportunities to increase or decrease hours can be determined with candidates based on experience and availability.

Areas of focus include expressive and receptive language, articulation, AAC, social communication, early language development, motor praxis and fluency.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $111.00-$145.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
