$100-$110/hour of direct, client-facing time only; indirect time (charting, travel) is unpaid, which is reflected in the salary

Job type:

Part-time, 15-30 hours/week of direct time (as per contractor preference); flexible scheduling

ELMHUB is a private practice located in Sudbury, Ontario. We strive to operate an eco-friendly, neurodiversity-affirming, welcoming/safe space business that aims to fill the service gaps throughout Northern Ontario. This position consists of assessment and therapy in the areas of speech, oral language, written language and fluency of preschool and school-aged children throughout Greater Sudbury and surrounding rural areas. Intervention is provided in daycares, schools, clients' homes, nursing homes, etc.

We are looking for a candidate with:

Ability to work cooperatively with clients and their families

Ability and willingness to travel to clients (schools, homes, daycares, nursing homes)

Valid driver's license and personal transportation (required)

Ability to conduct both formal and informal speech & language assessments

Experience working with children

Valid criminal record check including vulnerable sector section

Some experience with virtual therapy

Bilingualism is an asset

Ability to manage own caseload with support
