We are currently seeking Speech Language Pathologist for

Toronto Central team \xe2\x80\x93 Downtown Toronto area

$2,000 Sign On Bonus for Full Time caseloads

What will be your role?

As a Speech Language Pathologist at VHA, you will be assessing dysphagia and communication disorders and providing consultation, recommendations and interventions to adults and/or geriatric group of clients in their homes using evidence-based best practice. You will ensure coordinated delivery of care through ongoing communication with the client care team regarding plans and schedules for interventions, problem solve in collaboration with the client and care team to create opportunities for more independence and promote VHA\xe2\x80\x99s core beliefs and values.

Required Qualifications:

• Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or equivalent in Speech Language Pathology.

• Membership in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario.

• Eligible for membership in the Ontario Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists.

• Minimum 2 years clinical experience (optimal)

• Valid Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License with access to a vehicle

• Compassionate and empathetic

• Self-driven with ability to work independently

• Skilled in caseload management

• Skilled at electronic documentation
