to join our team in providing exceptional support to individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Working under the supervision of a registered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), the SLPA will help implement treatment plans, support therapy sessions, and contribute to improving clients' quality of life.
Responsibilities include:
Assist the SLP in delivering individualized treatment plans for clients
Conduct group and one-on-one therapy sessions as directed
Prepare materials and resources for therapy
Document and report client progress to the supervising SLP
Support assessment procedures under supervision
Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment
Collaborate with clients, families, and other team members to ensure effective service delivery
Adhere to privacy laws and ethical standards as outlined by the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
Job Requirements
Completion of a recognized Speech-Language Pathology Assistant or Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) program
Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children and/or adults with communication needs (preferred)
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Proficiency in maintaining documentation and following treatment protocols
Current CPR/First Aid certification
Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
Familiarity with CASLPO guidelines and SLPA scope of practice

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
