We can\'t wait to welcome you!The RoleThe position of Specialist II, Global Account Services, is an exciting and fast-paced support selling role. Individuals will work with global clients in multiple segments by coordinating group/transient hotel bookings from key global accounts via telephone and email. Specialists work with both internal and external computer systems. Global Account Services Specialists work in tandem with global sellers, clients and hotels to negotiate special rates and terms for clients and groups utilizing proposals and contracts. Groups can range from 1 hotel room to thousands of hotel rooms. Specialists work through multiple mediums (phones, web, client software, and email) to solicit and convert revenue opportunities while building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing key accounts. Specialists are responsible for meeting revenue and conversion targets and Service Level Agreements. Specialists will be working with multiple clients and multiple contracts simultaneously. Specialists may or may not work with dedicated key accounts.What you\'ll doSpecialists core job functions include processing incoming opportunities and converting them into bookings. Specialists will interact with clients, global sellers, hotels, and customers via inbound/outbound phone calls and email correspondence with the goal of placing bookings in the best hotels and for the best rates requested through a consultative approach with the customer. Specialists will also be expected to resolve within reason basic customer services related issues surfaced by key accounts. It is essential the Global Account Services Specialist be able to perform their duties in a contact center facility or approved location, while seated at a desk and in accordance with the company attendance policy.
