Under the general direction of the Manager, Digital Marketing, this position is responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives across email, social media, website, and other targeted digital channels. The role supports social media content creation, manages online listings, and ensures a consistent brand presence & engagement. The Digital Marketing Specialist plays a key role in retaining and engaging Great Canadian Rewards members through data-driven strategies that enhance the user experience and align with corporate marketing objectives. Additionally, this role ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members, and the creation of a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Key Accountabilities:
Create, configure, test, deploy, and report on Customer Relationship Management (CRM) marketing campaigns, including one-time, recurring, trigger-based, and dynamic content-driven initiatives.
Support website programming, social media content development, and online listing management to maintain a consistent brand presence.
Champion knowledge sharing by exchanging expertise across teams and leveraging insights to strengthen collective capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver flexible, iterative solutions that meet evolving business needs.
Participate in marketing discussions with team members, stakeholders, and external agencies as required.
Foster a culture of transparent feedback, encouraging open communication and receptivity to diverse perspectives.
Develop and maintain targeting and segmentation strategies; support list generation, email quality assurance, and custom campaign pages as required.
Update, troubleshoot, and optimize emails, ensuring seamless integration of content, personalization elements, assets, and design components.
Manage marketing automation workflows while staying current on emerging best practices, strategies, and industry standards
Educational and Functional Requirements:
Post-secondary education in Digital Marketing, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with digital marketing platforms, including segmentation, dynamic content, and personalization strategies.
Experience in gaming or hospitality marketing (minimum 2 years) considered a strong asset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging across digital marketing channels.
Proven ability to build effective, collaborative relationships across the organization while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, balance competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) considered an asset.
* Additional knowledge of web design, HTML, or email development is highly desirable.
