Missions and Responsibilities

The main function and purpose of this position is to support the Metal Fabrication Partner Channels and Acquisition projects. *** To be bilingual is essential French and English Written and Spoken The analyst is responsible for supporting the Partner Channels programs through different marketing and operations initiatives in order to maximize the customer experience and the return on investment for Air Liquide. The analyst is also responsible to provide financial and analytical support for the justification and deployment of relevant projects, supporting the acquisition process (Non compete, Valuation tool, Letter of intent (LOI), supporting the Due diligence, transition plan and integration plan, etc). During the transition phase, the analyst is responsible to oversee the daily and monthly accounting of the target, ensuring processes are put in place and preparing for a smooth transition. The incumbent reports to the Manager Channels and is responsible for issuing monthly scorecards for each project and proposes corrective action plans when needed. The incumbent is expected to contribute to the project management process and manage the change process with the target and the regional teams when necessary.

  • Supports integration and change management plan From acquisition date to IT integration. Support day 1, week 1, month 1 of accounting activities and onboard employees / customers and operations for a smooth transition. Ensure Accounting operations carry over and Financial reporting monthly and reconciliation until IT integration.
  • Supports deployment and helps deliver results: Once a project has been justified and capital resources allocated, the incumbent is expected to ensure that the PM@AL process is used and appropriate resources are allocated. This will typically involve working with teams across multiple disciplines and regions. Support the integration of acquisitions in operations, IT and sales including management of change plan.
  • Analyse the Canadian market, the sales channels and multiple players to nurture our omnichannel strategy and also keep the acquisition pipeline healthy and accurate
  • Supports to build business cases, ZPR & RIC documentation: Support the development of business cases with all parties involved (target, operations, regional activity, etc). The incumbent is expected to support in the production of all relevant supporting documents.
  • Creates management reports and ensures regular activity follow-up: Establishes key success metrics and Monitor performance of each channel and projects. Build and monitor scorecard and Assess results against goals. Analyzes profitability and performance of projects on a monthly basis and ensures accuracy of all information received. Monitor project evolution with analysis of commercial and technical results and implements appropriate corrective measures.
  • Process improvement: Helps identify new ideas and opportunities to improve the projects and their realization. Identifies unsatisfied needs and different hurdles, proposes corrective measures and sees to their implementation.


Competencies and Profile

  • Diploma : Bachelor degree in Accounting, Marketing or Business Administration
  • Training: Training in marketing and business management
  • Knowledge : Strong business analysis and business case building capabilities. Good communication skills (oral, written and presentation), in French and in English. Google suite, Mastery of AL tools such as Oracle, etc
  • Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience
