Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Repository Supervisor, the student assistants will prepare faculty author profiles for migration. They will identify and collect variant forms of researcher names present in the institutional repository (eScholarship) to facilitate disambiguation of researcher names. Once this stage is completed, they will investigate ORCID iD statuses in order to compile profiles for Researcher Entity creation in DSpace, a required feature for ORCID implementation in the new IR.
Required skills:Proficiency with MS Office, Excel in particular.
Experience with numerous citation styles (APA, Chicago, etc.).
Basic understanding of Adobe Acrobat Pro is an asset.
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:English (spoken, read, and written) and French (written and read).
