e're looking for an

RDLIP Project Assistant

who will play a crucial role in supporting the Red Deer Local Immigration Partnership (RDLIP) team with event planning, community outreach, resource development and communications. This role will strengthen the RDLIP team's efforts to build community capacity and promote belonging through anti-racism initiatives.

A little about what you bring to the Local Immigration Partnership:

Experience in event planning, outreach, or communications. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to pivot quickly and manage multiple tasks at once. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva and social media platforms. Communication skills and knowledge of newcomer needs are assets.

Your Responsibilities:

Assist with logistics and coordination of RDLIP events, meetings, and workshops. This may include some evenings and weekends. Support outreach to community stakeholders and other partners to encourage participation and engagement. Contribute to communications, including social media, newsletters, and promotional materials. Develop and adapt resource materials to support community engagement and anti-racism initiatives. Document and share outcomes from meetings and community activities. Provide general administrative and project support as needed.
