Qualifications
Event Planning or Coordinating experience considered an asset
Food & Beverage experience required
Hospitality and Tourism and/or Event Management education considered an asset
Strong organizational, detail management and multi-tasking skills
Commitment to managing clients by providing the highest level of service, integrity and creativity
Must be flexible to work to client demands (days, evenings and weekends)
Excellent computer skills with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and Sales software such as Delphi
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work in a high pressure and fast paced environment.
Must have attention to detail, a commitment to quality and customer service focused
Demonstrates initiative, enthusiasm and self-motivation
High energy, outgoing personality with a strong - professional interpersonal communication skills
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Special Events Manager in the set up and execution of all onsite wedding which includes completing all administrative details, ensure all banquet event orders are completed accurately, Banquet Event Order review with the clients for signature, meal samplings along with confirming all details for the ceremony and the dinner.
