Job Title: Special Education Support - Experienced Senior Professional



:



We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual with

minimum 5 years professional experience

in special education for children to provide part-time "one to one intervention" support for a 3-year-old in daycare.

The primary focus of this role is to assist in developing her social and communication skills and integrating her into group activities and peer relationships.

The role will apply strategies defined by an experienced behavioral analyst, applying them, and tracking progress accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:



Collaborate with BCBA to apply the early intervention strategies in daycare settings. Enhance the child's personal, social and communication skills, and track data against goals & progress. Facilitate the child's participation in group activities and interactions with peers at daycare settings Collaborate with daycare team to ensure a cohesive approach to her development Monitor and report on her progress to parents and to the team leader, provide daily status report and data sheet Adhere to daycare policies, rules, and daily schedules, and ensure a positive and respectful interaction with daycare staff and routines.

Required Qualifications:



A degree in behavioral science, early education, psychology, or related field (e.g. autism and behavioral science certificate, Early Childhood Education Diploma or Degree).

At least 5 years of previous experience

in a special education setting for young children (1-4 years old). Fluency in English. Ability to connect with children and strong play skills Possess patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young children. Able to follow daycare rules and routines

Preferred Skills:



Ideally, experienced with naturalistic developmental behavioral intervention (NDBI) methodologies for early years interventions (e.g., ESDM, JASPER). Alternatively, certified in other early intervention techniques.

Working Hours:



Preferable hours - in Daycare Setting: Targeting 10 hours per week, every weekday between 09:00 - 12:30 or 14:30 to 16:30 Hours can be negotiated based on the availability of the right candidate.
