Services veterinaires : Porcs et volailles (Region de l'Est)

Relevant du Directeur associe, Services veterinaires Porcs et volailles, le membre de l'equipe des Services veterinaires est responsable de fournir un soutien technique a l'unite d'affaires Animaux d'elevage de notre entreprise, aux veterinaires et aux clients pour le portefeuille Sante animale de notre societe, avec un accent particulier sur le portefeuille de produits pour porcs et volailles.
Responsabilites principales :
Interagir avec les clients par plateformes virtuelles et en personne, avec ou sans representants des ventes, pour la region de l'Est du Canada afin de soutenir les segments porcins; peut etre appele a soutenir d'autres regions du Canada selon les besoins afin d'optimiser l'appui aux produits Sante animale et a la force de vente de notre entreprise.
Fournir des informations medicales et scientifiques sur les produits porcs et volailles de notre portefeuille Sante animale, a la demande des veterinaires et des membres de l'equipe veterinaire.
Elaborer des protocoles, surveiller, resumer et diffuser les essais cliniques et de soutien marketing specifiques a la sante et a la performance porcine.
Gerer les enquetes de pharmacovigilance pour les animaux d'elevage de notre entreprise; rapporter les plaintes relatives a la qualite des produits conformement aux procedures Sante animale de notre societe.
Developper et offrir des programmes de formation scientifique regionaux aux membres de l'equipe de vente, en coordination avec les autres membres des Services veterinaires, les gestionnaires de produits, les gestionnaires regionaux d'affaires (GRA) et le directeur national des affaires.
En collaboration avec les gestionnaires de produits, participer regulierement aux reunions d'equipe pour apporter un eclairage veterinaire aux initiatives marketing et reviser les documents promotionnels/techniques ainsi que l'etiquetage des produits, de la conception a la version finale, afin d'assurer la rigueur scientifique et le respect des reglementations veterinaires ethiques et des lignes directrices de l'industrie.
Collaborer avec les autres membres des Services veterinaires Sante animale de notre entreprise au Canada, aux Etats-Unis et a l'international concernant les enjeux et opportunites afin d'assurer un soutien solide et coherent a l'unite d'affaires Animaux d'elevage.
Travailler en liaison avec les GRA et l'equipe de vente pour ameliorer le succes de l'unite d'affaires Animaux d'elevage, notamment en fournissant des informations scientifiques et de la formation pour appuyer la force de terrain dans le developpement des relations clients au niveau regional et national.
En collaboration avec les GRA et la force de vente, concevoir et mettre en oeuvre des initiatives et activites avec les comptes cles (CC), les leaders d'opinion cles (LOK), les universites, colleges et associations pertinentes au niveau regional et national.
Participer aux reunions et formations Sante animale requises par notre entreprise tout au long de l'annee.
Representer notre entreprise lors d'engagements avec les associations de l'industrie porcine, les partenaires et parties prenantes, y compris en tant que conferencier scientifique lors des principales rencontres de l'industrie avicole et/ou porcine.
Qualifications minimales :
Diplome en medecine veterinaire, etudes postuniversitaires, MSc ou PhD en sante animale reliee a la production porcine et/ou avicole.
Experience de travail dans des systemes integres de production avicole et/ou porcine.
Excellentes competences en communication orale et ecrite.
Capacite a travailler en equipe et de facon autonome.
Disponibilite pour voyager jusqu'a 60 % du temps.
Disponibilite pour voyager a travers le Canada, aux Etats-Unis et potentiellement a l'international.
Permis de conduire valide requis.
Francais ecrit et parle si vous residez au Quebec. L'anglais est un atout pour les relations d'affaires avec des intervenants nationaux et internationaux.
Formation et competences preferees :
Diplome en medecine veterinaire (DVM), etudes post-DVM ou etudes superieures, avec une experience axee sur la medecine de production porcine et avicole, l'epidemiologie, le bien-etre et la medecine de population.

Position location: Eastern Canada (Eastern Ontario, Quebec, Maritimes)
Reporting to the Associate Director, Swine and Poultry Veterinary Services, the veterinary Services team member is responsible for providing technical support to our company's Animal Health farm animal business unit, veterinarians, and customers for the Animal Health portfolio of our company, with a focus on the swine and poultry product portfolio.
Primary responsibilities include:
Engaging with clients through virtual platforms and face-to-face interactions, with and without sales representatives, with responsibilities for Eastern Canada to support the swine segments; may be called upon to help other parts of Canada as required to optimize support for our company's Animal Health products and sales force.
Providing medical and scientific information about our company's Animal Health swine and poultry products, as requested by veterinarians and veterinary team members.
Developing protocols, monitoring, summarizing and disseminating clinical and marketing support trials specific to swine health and performance.
Managing our company's Animal Health farm animal pharmacovigilance investigations; reporting product quality complaints according to our company's Animal Health procedures
Developing and delivering regional scientific training programs to sales team members and, as coordinated between other Veterinary Services team members, Product Managers, Regional Business Managers (RBMs) and the National Business Director
In collaboration with Product Managers, engaging in regular team meetings to provide veterinary insight for marketing initiatives and reviewing promotional/technical material and product labelling from conceptual design to final copy to ensure scientific accuracy and adherence to ethical veterinary regulations and industry guidelines.
Liaising with other Animal Health Veterinary Services team members from our company in Canada, the USA, and globally regarding issues and opportunities to provide strong and cohesive support for the Farm Animal Business Unit.
Liaising with RBM and the sales team to improve the success of the Farm Animal Business Unit. This includes providing scientific information and training to support the field force in building customer relationships within their region and nationally.
In collaboration with RBM and the sales force, designing and implementing initiatives and activities with Key Accounts (KAs), Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Universities, Colleges, and relevant associations within the region and nationally.
Participating in required Animal Health meetings and training from our company throughout the year.
Representing our company when engaging with swine industry associations, partners, and stakeholders, including participating as a scientific speaker on the agenda of key poultry and /or swine industry meetings.
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree in Veterinary Medicine, post-graduate work, MSc or PhD in Animal health related to swine and/or poultry production.
Experience working on integrated poultry and/or swine production systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
Willing to travel up to 60% of the time.
Willing to travel across Canada, to the U.S.A. and potentially to international meetings.
Must have a valid driver's license.
French both written and spoken if located in Quebec. English is preferred for business with national and global stakeholders.
Preferred Education and Skills:
A veterinary medicine degree, post-DVM or grad studies, and experience emphasizing swine and poultry production medicine, epidemiology, welfare, and population medicine are preferred.
