Position Title: Spare Operator

Requirements:

Requirements:
i?~ Will train and lead all employees in the areas of safety, environmental, GMP's, and sanitation procedures
i?~ Ensure timely, accurate records are maintained in all applicable areas.
i?~ Follow good manufacturing practice
i?~ Apply all aspects of lean manufacturing: including 5S, standard work, S.O.P, B.O.P, JHA's
i?~ Assist in driving continuous improvement in both process & packaging areas.
i?~ Measure and report equipment settings as applicable.
i?~ Complete and apply all aspects of Operator Asset Care (O.A.C.) in PKG work area.
i?~ Cleaning and inspection line checklists as applicable to the position
i?~ Meet or exceed required sanitation standard for work area: including scraping scales, sweeping floor, emptying damaged bags of product to waste barrels, shoveling, scrubbing, hosing & foaming with chemical.
i?~ Operate equipment in a manner to produce high quality product at the specified flow rate and report any equipment problems to supervision
i?~ Collecting & performing various samples.
i?~ Clean-up/shut down duties: including deep cleaning on specific lines, sweeping, air hosing, chemical use, high pressure hosing and other duties as required.

Duties:
i?~ Push / pull such as rolls of poly, high pressure hoses, garbage containers, vacuum, pallets, cases & required equipment.
i?~ Lifting weight approximately 25 - 75 lbs, up to heights of 6 ft
i?~ Lifting waste barrels into waste bins (2 person job)
i?~ Lifting of tubes on/off baggers: weights up to 100 lbs (2 person job)
i?~ Stair / ladder climbing as required
i?~ Bending, crouching
i?~ Standing for extended periods
i?~ Continuous walking
i?~ Data entry
i?~ Other duties as assigned
