APASS Education is an educational consulting company supporting students in reaching their academic goals in a remedial or enrichment capacity. We offer a range of IB, AP, BC curriculum-based courses, SAT prep and IELTS classes taught by experienced educators with proven track records. We are currently looking for one Spanish teacher to start classes imminently.



Responsibilities:

Work closely with Program Director to meet students' academic goals Provide instruction for elementary and high school level Spanish classes in a small group setting or for one-on-one and in person and/or online sessions Supplement and enrich the Spanish curriculum Prepare the teaching materials (exercises, quizzes, tests, assignments) and deliver the lessons with effective results Plan lessons accordingly after assessing students' needs Upload all teaching materials on Google Classroom Assess students and return marked assignments in Google Classroom Review students' academic progress and regularly update marks in grade book to monitor and evaluate students' performance
Qualifications:

Expertise in the subject area is essential Related teaching experience of Spanish courses is required BC Teacher's certificate with experience teaching in BC schools is an asset Bachelor of Education is preferred; Master's in Education is highly valued
Job Types: Fixed term contract, Casual
Contract length: 10 months

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 8 per week
