We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Spa Manager to oversee daily operations of our upscale spa facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management, sales, and team supervision. As Spa Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless guest experience, managing staff, and maintaining the overall profitability and reputation of the spa. This role requires excellent organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to lead a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise daily spa operations, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction
Recruit, train, and develop staff members to foster a professional and motivated team
Oversee retail sales, merchandising, pricing strategies, and store management to maximize revenue
Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using phone etiquette and excellent communication skills
Implement marketing initiatives to promote services and products effectively
Monitor inventory levels through purchasing and POS systems; coordinate with vendors for supplies
Conduct performance evaluations, interviews, and training sessions to enhance team performance
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized environment
Develop promotional campaigns to increase client engagement and retention
Requirements
Proven experience in retail management, sales management, or store management within a service-oriented environment
Supervising experience with strong leadership capabilities in team management and training & development
Proficiency in POS systems and purchasing procedures
Excellent negotiation skills along with organizational skills and time management abilities
Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence and phone etiquette
Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately; experience in merchandising and pricing strategies is advantageous
Administrative experience including budgeting, marketing, interviewing candidates, and overseeing retail sales operations
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff while maintaining high standards of service delivery
Must demonstrate organizational skills, math proficiency for bookkeeping tasks, and effective problem-solving abilities
