Responsibilities

Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment

Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining proper stock levels
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen
Collaborate with management on menu development and seasonal offerings
Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency with restaurant standards
Provide exceptional service to guests by addressing any culinary inquiries or special requests
Qualifications
Proven experience as a cook, sous or chef de partie or in a similar role within the food service industry
Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management and leadership
In-depth knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment
Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in food handling
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Previous restaurant experience is preferred; culinary degree is a plus
