• 2 to 4 years of experience
• Self-motivated and must be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Maintain a pleasant and professional relationship with business partners
• Solution-oriented
• Familiarization with trucking, cross-border shipments, and import customs process
• Knowledge of INCO Terms
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and relations
• Be able to work under pressure
• Strong computer skills proficient in MS Office Suite with a financial acumen
• Efficient data collection and ability to create and update spreadsheets
• Be proactive and accurate
• Can build strong & effective working relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Ability to meet and set deadlines

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Support demand planning, production, logistics, and assist with inventory.
• Handle inquiries, communication, follow-up, and feedback; such as lead time and transit time inquiries for materials, and expediting products from suppliers.
• Follow up with suppliers on late purchase orders and update the system with dates.
• Supply related quality documents to quality control and R&D for approvals.
• Supplier development and evaluations.
• Assist with projects as needed.
• Actioning potential problems and claims with suppliers by the implementation of company quality procedures and standards.
• Assisting with supplier audits and evaluation of potential sources.
• Arrange bookings for air freight, trucks, and ocean, for upcoming goods shipments.
• Ensuring quotes are accurate and recoverable.
• Implement and manage continuous improvement projects for cost savings
• Administration tasks - answering phones, and preparing emails and reports.
