M? t?nei t?ranga | About the opportunity

We're looking for a Sourcing Specialist to join our IT & Corporate Services, Procurement team, based in Auckland or Hamilton. This role is all about implementing sourcing strategies and supporting Category Managers to deliver maximum sustainable value through robust, transparent processes.

This is a critical role supporting the wider team and you will lead multiple sourcing exercises, negotiation of contracts, and ensure compliance with governance standards while building strong stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities include:Implement sourcing strategies aligned with category plans Managing RFx processes and vendor selection Supporting contract negotiations and renewals Engaging stakeholders throughout the sourcing lifecycle Providing market intelligence and commercial insights Upholding ethical governance and compliance standards

You're a proactive problem-solver with strong procurement knowledge and a passion for delivering value.

To be successful, you'll bring:A tertiary qualification or working towards a recognised Supply Chain or related diploma/degree 2-3 years' experience in procurement or similar roles Proven experience in go-to-market sourcing activities Strong negotiation, influencing, and interpersonal skills Understanding of contract law and project management principles
