Our Business Solutions team is looking for a Solutions Architect. Reporting to the Manager, IT Business Solutions, you'll be creating comprehensive solution architecture, keeping in mind overall architectural integrity, while maintaining the vision of services provided from an architectural perspective.

What you'll do:

• Lead the practice and introduce the overall technical vision for solutions to Home Hardware.
• Identify and implement technology, application solution design and deliver sustainable, cost-effective business applications based on industry and business research.
• Responsible for the implementation and oversight of sustaining technology governance and processes.
• Mentoring of Business and IT Associates in proper use of the technology and application base.
• Ensure cost effectiveness through leveraging existing investments while developing creative solutions.
• Provide leadership and facilitation across technical domains in the design of a solution. Work with domain architect owners in building the solution architecture and support with the execution of the respective detailed architecture. (i.e., Information, Application and Technical domains).
• Participate in the establishment of architecture guidelines and ensure compliance.
• Conduct research on emerging technology in support of development efforts and align with IT strategies.
• Validate the implementation of the solution architecture as planned from the inception to production while proactively identifying new opportunities for efficient and effective solutions.

What we're looking for:

• Experience in Retail or Consumer Packaged Goods industries is preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of systems, applications, and/or networks for providing practical solutions that factor system performance, usability, quality, cross-system interdependencies, scalability, and overall cost to develop and maintain.
• Expertise in modern technologies while having great people skills like stakeholder management, leadership and decision making skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate clearly at all levels including internal Team Members, Leadership Team, external vendors, business partners and other key stakeholders.
• Demonstrated conceptual, analytical, negotiations and problem-solving skills.
• Proven planning, prioritization, and execution skills with excellent time management and project management skills.
• Ability to handle complex and difficult situations with thought and confidence.
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs.
• Ability to work additional or varied hours as required to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
