WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

• Understand the challenges faced by prospects, customers, and the industry at large
• Understand and document the customer requirements aligning
• Align requirements with available software and hardware solutions
• Create new solution definitions to meet customer challenges using electrical design and manufacturing applications
• Create and deliver presales technical presentations (online and in-person) to demonstrate customer benefit.
• Deliver webinars, seminars, and other forms of public speaking to educate and create awareness in the market.
• Suggest enhancements to customer design and manufacturing processes in the electrical control systems market.
• Create and support training and professional service offerings
• Assist sales teams in understanding and navigating technical discussions with customers.

YOU HAVE:

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Computer Science, Mechanical or Equivalent
• Previous experience in or with Technical sales / Pre-sales applications engineering roles, Post-sales implementation, Solution architecting
• Ideally 7+ years working with Electrical design tools in the Enclosure and automation design space
• 3+ years of experience deploying engineering CAD solutions
• 3+ years providing professional training and implementation services
• Driven and motivated to quickly gain sound knowledge and understanding of the policies and procedures of nVent
• Interact well with multiple stakeholders and able to work in a global environment.
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Additional languages are a plus.
• Strong learning agility and great analytical skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acesss)
• Possess a high energy level and strong work ethic with a commitment to continuous improvement in a dynamic and changing environment that strives to exceed expectations.
• Desire to work collectively and actively chip in to a positive team culture
• Ability to travel up to 50% annually; some international

PREFERRED:

• Experience working with standard relational databases like MS SQL, Oracle, etc.
• Demonstrated experience in programming or project management is an asset
• Proficiency with E3.series design suite
