The Role
As a Solution Architect, you\'ll be responsible for:
  • Leading and overseeing project delivery from a technical perspective.
  • Building client relationships and be the client-facing technical point of contact within your assigned projects.
  • Conducting pre-sales activities such as requirements gathering, developing estimates, and demos for prospective clients.
  • Assigning your team to projects and ensuring your team members are meeting KPIs.
  • Working with Enterprise Architects to establish and standardize technical approaches/methodologies for project delivery.
  • Conducting regular check-ins with Technical Architects and Solution Specialists reporting to you.
  • Participating in interviews, hiring, and supporting retention of your team.
  • Supporting your team in growing their careers through formal and informal training.
  • Provide solution design and guide your team through the following project tasks:
  • Design and implement electronic records management systems and processes for clients, while ensuring provincial/state/organization regulations are met.
  • Review client records management systems and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Work with clients to assess information management needs based on their file plan and document control policies.
  • Develop governance and tactical/implementation plans to maintain security and compliance, while moving organizations to higher levels of records management maturity.
  • Configure Microsoft compliance center and third-party records management solutions to align with records management policies and best practices.
  • Automating processes related to record submittal, conversion, retention, and destruction processes for clients
  • Actively supporting the Elantis culture.
On the technical side, here are some of the skills we\'re looking for:
  • Minimum of five years of project delivery experience.
  • Experience managing teams.
  • Experience in electronic document, information, and records management best practices.
  • Experience developing records management processes, including retention policies, archival, and disposition.
  • Experience using and configuring Microsoft Purview/ Security and Compliance Center.
  • Experience designing and configuring classification schemes, file plans and metadata models, such as configuring Microsoft search functionality and configuring sensitivity labels and retention policies.
  • Experience in automating classification, retention, and disposition using SharePoint, either using custom workflows or through third-party applications.
  • Experience in governance policy development and implementation.
  • Experience with SharePoint, OpenText, M-Files, or other similar content management platforms.
  • Experience with Gimmal, Collabware, RecordPoint, or other similar records management software.
  • Familiarity with security and privacy legislation, regulations and known best practices.
  • Post-secondary education in a technology related field or equivalent experience.
Additional skills:
  • Articulate and have excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to confidently advise clients on solutions.
  • Proactive and driven.
  • Ability to be able to manage billable time and work efficiently while able to context switch and manage multiple client commitments.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking ability and skilled at coaching and mentoring a team.
  • Experience with presales and estimating expertise along with the ability to negotiate with and positively influence clients through sales cycles and project challenges.
  • Experience working with project managers and the technical teams to complete projects on time and on budget.
