Must Haves:

\xc2\xb7 At least 3 years of recent experience as CRM architect in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and F&O implementation and solution integration

\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated experience with data warehousing modelling concepts such as star and snowflake schemas and data modelling tools (preferably, ERWIN)

\xc2\xb7 Experience in Azure resource configuration and administration such as Azure Data Lake, Blob Storage, Key Vault, Application Insight resources, resource groups and subscriptions.

Description

Scope:

The Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee (OPGT) requires a solution architect - CRM to provide technical leadership for the data migration into Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Finance and Operations (F&O).

Deliverables:

\xc2\xb7 As a technical leader in the data migration and reporting team, you will provide expert guidance into all aspects of the data migration from legacy solutions into Dynamics 365 CE and F&O, full and delta load design and implementation and ensure a quality data migration. You will also lead the export of data assets from Dynamics CE and F&O into the new data lakehouse and lead the design and implementation of the golden layer of the data lakehouse and modernized reports in PowerBI.

\xc2\xb7 Other responsibilities include:

\xc2\xb7 Lead the development, implementation and management of D365 CE and F&O, monitoring of the whole system.

\xc2\xb7 Define the interactions between application packages, databases and middleware systems.

\xc2\xb7 Deliver customizations by defining and implementing entities, fields, workflows, business rules, forms, and views, ensuring they align with the business processes.

\xc2\xb7 Determine how the Dynamics CRM system will integrate with other systems and applications within the organization\'s technology landscape.

\xc2\xb7 Establish security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure proper access control within the CRM system.

\xc2\xb7 Optimize the performance of the Dynamics CRM system to ensure smooth operation and responsiveness.

\xc2\xb7 Ongoing Support: lead post-migration support, analysis and resolution of data-related issues or questions; help with optimizing data management processes in the new environment.

\xc2\xb7 Other duties as assigned.

The Vendor\xe2\x80\x99s Personnel will also be required to:

\xc2\xb7 Complete work and achieve milestones within the assigned deadlines.

\xc2\xb7 Notify the Cluster/Ministry project Manager in writing of any issues or other material concerns related to the Assignment Deliverables, as soon as he/she becomes aware of them

\xc2\xb7 Submit Deliverables for the Cluster/Ministry approval as they are completed.

\xc2\xb7 Comply with the Ontario Government and the Cluster/Ministry security procedures and practices

\xc2\xb7 Comply with the Ontario Government and the Cluster/Ministry architecture/technology standards and best practices

\xc2\xb7 Comply with the Ontario Government and the Cluster/Ministry Conflict of Interest and Confidentiality Guidelines

\xc2\xb7 Provide knowledge and skill transfer to a designated Cluster/Ministry staff; and

\xc2\xb7 Comply with the Ontario Government I&IT Directive, Operational Policy on the I&IT Project Gateway Process, and other applicable Guidelines, Standards and Procedures.

Skills and Knowledge:

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Finance and Operations (F&O) functionalities and capabilities

\xc2\xb7 Extensive experience with CRM applications, operating systems, environments, database technologies, programming languages and communication protocols

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of performance considerations in different environments

\xc2\xb7 Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development and implementation of applications

\xc2\xb7 Extensive experience in CRM applications analysis and design in large enterprise environments

\xc2\xb7 Experience in the use of data and process modelling methodologies, techniques and tools, including a working knowledge of metadata structures, repository functions, and data dictionaries

\xc2\xb7 Experience developing enterprise architecture deliverables (e.g., models and documentation)

\xc2\xb7 Experience in designing, developing, implementing and maintaining large complex CRM applications, workflow processes and dynamic forms.

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of integration technologies commonly used with Dynamics, such as DataVerse / Common Data Service (CDS), Data Entities, and APIs.

\xc2\xb7 Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes around DevOps, data workflows, Synapse workspaces.

\xc2\xb7 Strong understanding of ETL principles, including data extraction, transformation, and loading processes; knowledge of common ETL design patterns.

\xc2\xb7 Understanding of data pipeline architectures, Azure workflow orchestration tools, and concepts related to data ingestion, transformation, and movement.

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

Criteria 1 - Dynamics 365 CE and F&O (40 Points)

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Finance and Operations (F&O) functionalities and capabilities, implementation, configuration, customization, and operation.

\xc2\xb7 Extensive experience with CRM applications, operating systems, environments, database technologies, programming languages and communication protocols

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of performance considerations in different environments

\xc2\xb7 Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development, and implementation of applications

\xc2\xb7 Extensive experience in CRM applications analysis and design in large enterprise environments

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of security measures and access controls within the CRM system.

Criteria 2 - Azure Data Migration / ETL / SQL (25Points)

\xc2\xb7 Experience with the design and implementation of data management strategies within Dynamics CRM, data governance policies, data quality, data migration plans, and designing data synchronization processes with other systems.

\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated experience in integrating various data sources and systems, both on-premises and in the cloud, using Azure ETL services or other ETL tools

\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated experience working with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse workspaces, PolyBase, including knowledge of pipeline creation, data flows, integration runtimes, triggers, and monitoring.

\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated experience with data manipulation languages (T-SQL, PL/SQL), data definition languages, query performance analysis & tuning

\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated experience with SQL Server, Oracle, Azure SQL Databases

\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated experience with data modeling tools (preferably, ERWIN)

Criteria 3 - Data Warehouse / Lakehouse (25 Points)

\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated experience with data warehousing modelling concepts such as star and snowflake schemas and data modelling tools (preferably, ERWIN)

\xc2\xb7 demonstrated experience working Power BI, creating interactive reports and dashboards, configuring data gateways, utilizing advanced features such as DAX and Power Query.

\xc2\xb7 Experience with SSIS, SSRS

Criteria 4 - Azure Platform (10 Points)

\xc2\xb7 Experience in Azure resource configuration and administration such as Azure Data Lake, Blob Storage, Key Vault, Application Insight resources, resource groups and subscriptions.

\xc2\xb7 Azure cloud certifications

\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools and processes around Azure DevOps

Note: This position is currently listed as "Onsite"; however, the Assignment under this request will provisionally be \xe2\x80\x9cHybrid\xe2\x80\x9d, working 7.25 hours per calendar day, sometime between 8:00-5:00 PM (excluding lunch breaks) Monday to Friday inclusive, unless otherwise identified. These conditions are subject to change as the OPS reflects on its current situation. During the duration of the assignment, you will be under the discretion of the Hiring Manager\xe2\x80\x99s requirements for the Project you are assigned to.

The VOR Master Service Agreement which expires on April 5, 2024, leaves some Contracts with funding unassigned for fiscal 2024-25. If the current statement of work expires on March 31, 2024, the remaining funds can be used to exercise an option to extend the SOW beyond March 31, 2024, based on business case approvals. Such extensions will be allowable, only if the Master Service Agreement is extended beyond April 5, 2024, and be upon the same terms, conditions, and covenants contained in the SOW.
