Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled SolidWorks/AutoCAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various CAD software and possess a strong understanding of mechanical design and drafting principles. This role involves creating detailed schematics and drawings that will support our construction and design projects.

Duties

Develop detailed 2D and 3D models using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and other CAD software. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications. Create accurate schematics and drafting documents for mechanical designs. Utilize SolidWorks and AutoCad as needed for project development. Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and ASME regulations. Revise drawings based on feedback from production team members or clients. Participate in project meetings to discuss design progress and address any issues that arise.

Experience

Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and other relevant CAD software is essential. Experience with mechanical design, drafting, and construction processes is highly desirable. Familiarity with animation techniques is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
