Job Description

Description:The candidate will be required to develop and execute functional and integration test plans for new features developed for Automotive Infotainment systems. Automated test execution is a critical part of the overall test coverage requiring the candidate to have working knowledge of Python scripting. Software test engineers are part of Agile scrum teams including software and automation developers delivering both product capability and automated tests for the assigned feature.This position is a hybrid testing role (meaning both manual & automated testing are required.)Project: Working on the cluster (the part in front of the steering wheel, which has your speedometer and other gauges)Typical Day:- They will have a particular feature to provide test coverage for.- Look at Jira Requirements within epics or stories and create a test strategy & plan.- Develop test case & automated test case before the feature is even developed for the feature- The tester will be creating the test case in tandem with the developer creating the feature- When it\'s ready for testing, the tester will be able to develop the automated test case against the feature- Approve the PR, upload it into our system- Work with the lab teams to make sure the test cases get put as part of ongoing automated regressions.Skills:python, linux, embedded, gui testing, android auto, carplay, communication protocols, automotiveTop Skills Details:python, linux, embedded, gui testingAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Skills Required:- Experience testing for automotive systems, preferably Cluster/Driver Information systems - Experience developing automation scripts in Python, or Java - Familiarity with Agile development processes - Embedded operating systems (Linux, Unix, QNX) - Experience testing software on Android OS based platforms - Experience testing software on QNX OS based platforms - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Experience with communication protocols: CAN, TCP/IP, USB, Bluetooth, Ethernet, and/or Wi-FiSkills Preferred:- Experience with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay - Experience with Android and iPhone preferredExperience Level:Intermediate Level\xc3\x80 propos d\'Actalent:Actalent est un chef de file mondial des services d\xe2\x80\x99ing\xc3\xa9nierie et de sciences et des solutions de talents.
