Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and technically adept Software Development Project Manager with deep expertise in Jira administration and agile methodologies. This role bridges the gap between engineering execution and strategic delivery, ensuring that software projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals. This role will facilitate and coordinate cross functional activities with development, operations, and market teams.

Responsibilities:

Project Management

Lead end-to-end software development projects using Agile/Scrum or hybrid methodologies Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders Manage sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release cycles Track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies

Jira Administration & Workflow Optimization

Design, configure, and maintain Jira projects, boards, workflows, custom fields, and automation rules Create dashboards and reports for engineering, QA, and executive teams Train team members on Jira best practices and usage Integrate Jira with Confluence, Git, CI/CD tools, and other platforms

Team Leadership & Communication

Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, QA, UX/UI, and product owners Facilitate clear communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement

Process & Performance

Analyze team velocity, burndown charts, and KPIs to improve delivery efficiency Implement and refine agile processes tailored to team maturity and project needs Support backlog grooming and prioritization with product managers

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in software project management 3+ years of hands-on Jira administration experience Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Familiarity with SDLC, CI/CD, and version control systems (e.g., Git) Proven experience in managing documentation deliverables Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate clearly Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders. Good time-management skills.

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
