Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Social Responsibility Advisor on a permanent basis at our Home Office in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

What you'll do:

The Social Responsibility Advisor will develop, execute and sustain FCL Community Investment programming and partnerships in alignment with FCL's philanthropic giving strategy.

  • You will support the execution, measurement, and evolution of FCL's community investment programs and partnerships.
  • You will engage with FCL employees, charitable and non-profit partners, as well as manage communications with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will ensure FCL programming and partnerships support FCL's mission of "Building Sustainable Communities Together" will while engaging and collaborating with internal stakeholders to increase engagement and awareness of FCL's Social Responsibility programs among employees, including volunteerism.
  • You will be responsible for tracking and reporting Key Performance Indicators related to FCL's programs and partnerships.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Community Investment and:
  • You have a bachelor's degree in Commerce
  • You have a minimum of 3-6 years' experience of community investment/social responsibility, project management, or marketing experience. (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
  • You have a strong understanding of the co-operative business model, particularly the Cooperative Retailing System. Also, training or certification in project management (PMP) and/or public relations would be an asset.
  • You're honest and trustworthy, are results oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You believe in collaboration, building relationships and value the perspectives of others.
