About the role

This Role is a 1 year Maternity Leave Coverage Position

The Marketing and Social Impact Advisor is responsible for executing Graham\xe2\x80\x99s social media marketing strategy and managing multiple social media platforms with expertise in content creation, social media trends and engagement reporting. In addition, the Advisor is responsible for supporting Graham\xe2\x80\x99s social impact/community investment initiatives and Sustainability reporting by tracking and reporting sponsorships, donations and community investment initiatives across the business. The Advisor contributes to and ensures Graham\xe2\x80\x99s communications standards and brand standards are adhered to consistently across various external channels. Staying close to the business, the Advisor uses strong relationship management and planning skills to determine and oversee the execution of annual and initiative plans, specifically related to Graham\xe2\x80\x99s external communications and social impact efforts. This position requires relationship building internally and externally to help tell the brand story of Graham and engage a variety of audiences.

As a Marketing and Social Impact Advisor at Graham you will:

  • Enhance and elevate Graham\xe2\x80\x99s brand and reputation through sharing our social impact, with a focus on community investment.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the business providing advisory services on community, sponsorship, donations, employee giving and volunteering, and profile.
  • Oversee Graham\xe2\x80\x99s Employee Giving Program including site administration of the Benevity Spark platform; review and approve employee match and volunteer fund requests; create and advise on giving and volunteer opportunities; and plan and execute company-wide community investment initiatives.
  • Manage Graham\xe2\x80\x99s social media including strategic direction and planning for social media; overseeing social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter/X), best practices, content and content calendar; tracking and monitoring; and executing a deliberate social media strategy to raise awareness of our work, projects and impact.
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to profile investments/story-tell with key audiences internal and external.
  • Support additional communications and marketing initiatives as required.
Qualifications/Experience
  • A university degree in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing
  • 5 years of relevant experience in a medium to large organization (1000+ employee base).
  • Self-motivated with strong planning, organizational, problem solving and time management skills
  • Passion for Community Investment work and understanding of its business value
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and continuous interaction with stakeholders
  • Experience in community investment and internal and external communications across a variety of channels.
  • Experience with Benevity platform as well as Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, is an asset.
