Social Media Specialist (Hybrid) - The Power to move You

Your Qualifications And Skills:

• Minimum 2 two years of experience coordinating social media channels for brands
• College Diploma in marketing, advertising or a related field.
• A passion for social media with an understanding of top platforms
• knowledge and experience with how brands should use social media to show up authentically and deliver tangible results
• Knowledge of Facebook Business Suite (Ads Manager, Creator Studio, etc.) and the ability to work with various social management platforms
• Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team to assist marketing strategists with campaigns and communications
• Proficient in using Canva
• Creative, autonomous, detail-oriented and results-driven
• Experience working with influencers content and how it can be used to extend social campaigns
• Knowledge in growing an online community
• An excellent collaborator
• Transportation - Candidate has their own vehicle and are able to drive to and from head office or dealerships. (occasional travel to GTA dealerships is required to film content)
• Proficient in English
• Passion for cars & the automotive industry is a plus!

The Role

Social media operations, strategy and alignment:

• Oversee day-to-day social media operations (scheduling, posting, etc)
• Support social platform strategy
• Support the expansion of social handles into new platforms

Content development, production and execution:

• Plan, execute and create engaging social content (Photos, copy, videos)
• Collaborate with the Marketing team on an aligned paid/earned media strategy
• Create social media strategy
• Identify opportunities for innovation in emerging social channels and develop plans to test-and-learn, while maintaining owned platforms and channels
• Build our audience of followers and strengthen relationships through conversation; assist with basic inquiries and forward complex inquiries to relevant topic experts

Performance monitoring:

• Monitor performance and deliver reporting with thoughtful and strategic insights
