The Social Media & Public Relations Specialist works on the Marketing Manager\xe2\x80\x99s team and is responsible for maintaining and building Structube\xe2\x80\x99s online community and strategic media partnerships. They will help build Structube\xe2\x80\x99s social media and public relations strategy, ensuring a coherent brand experience across all channels in support of the overall marketing strategy and company objectives.

SOCIAL MEDIA TASKS

• Establish per platform objectives, KPIs, as well as growth and retention strategies that align with industry best practices.
• Analyze social media data & analytics to optimize performance and make recommendations.
• Build and maintain content calendar for all social media platforms;
• Research and pitch content ideas while maintaining Structube\xe2\x80\x99s tone of voice;
• Content creation for all social media platforms;
• Collate up-to-date information on current social media trends and competitors;
• Data entry and report creation for all social media analytics;
• Work closely with the creative, copywriting, and ecom teams;
• Liaise with the customer service team to address and respond to daily customer inquiries on all social media platforms.

PR TASKS

• Expand Structube\xe2\x80\x99s PR initiatives and implement new growth strategies;
• Research and suggest opportunities for development and innovation;
• Build media lists and liaise with prominent brand contacts;
• Develop media relations and key industry stakeholders (journalists, bloggers, influencers, etc.);
• Responsible for media requests, product loans and collaboration with brands, media partners and influencers;
• Write press releases that will create buzz around the brand and generate earned media coverage;
• Follow-up on all active collaborations to ensure that all partnership conditions are being fulfilled;
• Plan all contests, ensuring legal compliance and prize fulfillment;
• Coordinate all Structube events and event promotions;
• Manage all reporting to measure KPI performance.

Qualifications

Who is the perfect Social Media & Public Relations Coordinator?

• 3-5 years of experience;
• Bilingual: must be fluent in English and French (both spoken and written);
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Marketing, PR, Communications, Business-related qualifications or equivalent experience;
• Strong understanding of social media platforms including: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube LinkedIn, Snapchat, and X (Twitter);
• Creative with strong copywriting skills and knowledge of social media trends;
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask while working with tight deadlines;
• Self-driven and resourceful with the ability to use one\xe2\x80\x99s own initiative and problem-solving capabilities;
• Strong organization, communication, and presentation skills;
• Ability to collaborate within a team;
• Knowledge of marketing metrics: CPM, CPC, Impressions, Reach, Engagement, Conversion Rates, etc.;
