The School of Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking a Social Media Officer to promote our newly created Graduate Diploma called; Physical Therapy Professional Qualification (PTPQ) Program.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set specific marketing goals that align with the overall direction of the Physical Therapy Professional Qualification (PTPQ) Program
  • Experience in graphic design to develop a PTPQ Logo;
  • Generate innovative ideas to promote PTPQ brand marketing/ strategy;
  • Develop program communication and events;
  • Develop and maintain a marketing strategy to: (a) Promote the McGill PT and Bridging Program and (b) Increase enrolment;
  • Develop and maintain digital campaigns to increase program awareness and enrollment;
  • Develop and coordinate a social media marketing strategy (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Linked In);
  • Coordinates the PTPQ use of social media;
  • Develops, update and maintain PTPQ webpage, as necessary;
  • Create material for digital marketing;
  • Creates video capsules, podcasts, infographics, email newsletters, case studies, photos, blogs with PTPQ stakeholders;
  • Ensures production of advertising material or other forms of PTPQ material;
  • Develop and executes multiple marketing programs with stakeholders;
  • Conduct marketing surveys, interviews, focus groups to inform marketing strategies;
  • Participate in planning and organizing the opening ceremony;
  • Participate in planning of the Annual Symposium/Conference stakeholder learning events;
  • Attending meetings, working groups, and committees
  • Writing evaluation reports and recommendations, memos, and summaries for use by policy and decision makers of the program
  • Develop and deliver presentations for decision makers (e.g. committees, planning/operation meetings, etc.), professionals and lay meetings, as necessary;
  • Contribute to the PTPQ strategic direction and priorities, work policies, systems, methods, procedures, standards, techniques, and planning and reporting documents;
Other Qualifying Skills and Abilities:
  • The ideal candidate must have a background in Marketing and Social Media with a Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field.
  • \xc2\xb7Great communication skills
  • The candidate should be familiar with \xe2\x80\x9cdesign software\xe2\x80\x9d such as Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects and have experience in project management.
  • A portfolio with examples of outcomes from previous projects will be requested.
  • Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level 4 on a scale of 0-4.
*Please note this a full-time contract for 6 months.

Minimum Education and Experience: Bachelor\'s Degree 3 Years Related Experience /

Annual Salary: (MPEX Grade 04) $62,550.00 - $78,190.00 - $93,830.00
