WINMAR is seeking a creative, organized, and results-driven Marketing & Social Media Manager to lead our local marketing strategy and strengthen our digital and community presence. This role involves managing social media channels, executing campaigns, designing content, maintaining brand consistency, and supporting business development initiatives in line with WINMAR's standards.
General Responsibilities
Must be able to travel between Winmar Locations across three provinces as needed.
Create and implement integrated marketing plans that align with company goals and brand identity.
Develop and schedule engaging content, monitor engagement, and respond to inquiries or comments in a timely and professional manner.
Design and create compelling visual and written content for digital platforms, including graphics, videos, stories, and promotional campaigns.
Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across all channels.
Ensure messaging supports brand positioning and company values.
Plan, execute, and optimize social media and digital ad campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Instagram, Facebook Ads).
Use tools such as Meta Business Suite and Google Analytics to analyze performance.
Prepare regular reports with key metrics, insights, and recommendations.
Identify and target key demographics to grow follower base.
Monitor trends and adjust strategy to maximize audience reach and interaction.
Build and manage email campaigns, including writing, design, and subscriber list management
Work cross-functionally with sales, HR, and leadership to support campaigns, hiring initiatives, events, or announcements.
Promote events online and coordinate coverage (before, during, and after events).
Assist with the creation of digital or print promotional materials.
Stay current on marketing trends, platform updates, and competitor activity.
Suggest innovations or shifts in strategy based on data and insights.
Manage marketing and advertising budgets, ensuring efficient spend and reporting on outcomes.

Experience
3-5 years of proven experience in a social media, marketing, or digital communications role.
Proven experience managing company social media accounts (not just personal use)
Experience promoting and covering corporate or community events on social media.
Experience planning and executing marketing campaigns for products, events, or initiatives.
Ability to interpret analytics and prepare performance reports using tools like Google Analytics and Meta Insights.

Essential Skills
Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
Photography and basic video editing skills
