Social Media Specialist - On Site

Overview:

Join our team at Josef Gas, a leading supplier of industrial gases, welding equipment, and propane to various industries. We cover a huge customer base; industrial, commercial, b2b and b2c. We have a large bricks and mortar business base and wish to grow it and develop our online presence.

Our products are used to heat spaces, freshen and freeze foods, cut and weld steel, glaze glass, purge pipe, move material. Our major products are compressed gases like propane, oxygen, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, helium, hydrogen, acetylene, our secondary product group is welding equipment, and safety supplies.

Our business inherently has a lot of compelling content for social media engagement and we are looking for someone who can capture this and promote it through social media.

We are seeking a talented Social Media Specialist to enhance our online presence and engage with our diverse customer base. As a Social Media Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our social media strategy to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute creative and engaging social media campaigns on Instagram, Facebook, LnkedIn, Pinterest, Youtube etc to promote Josef Gas products and services
- Manage all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn, Youtube, Pinterest, Tiktok.
- Create engaging content such as posts, blogs, vlogs, videos, and comprehensive email campaigns and graphics to increase follower interaction.
- Monitor social media analytics to track performance and optimize strategies for maximum reach
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices in social media marketing and trends in the compressed gases, and welding equipment industries.

-Write SEO-optimized copy, compelling headlines, captions, and effective hashtags while developing strategies to drive sales, web traffic, and grow engagement.

-Identify gaps within our marketing strategies and develop key touchpoints.

Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for creating visually appealing graphics

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

- Experience with Google My Business and Facebook Business Manager

- Expertise in all social media channels.

- Ability to create mobile videography and photography.
- Knowledge of graphic design principles to produce eye-catching content
- Familiarity with SEO techniques to optimize social media posts for search engines
- Ability to utilize Google tools for analytics and insights
- Understanding of digital marketing strategies and tactics
- Strong research skills to identify target audiences and industry trends
- Excellent proofreading abilities to ensure accurate and polished content
- Knowledge of advertising concepts to enhance brand visibility
