YOUR ROLE Job Overview With a Global social landscape of over 10 million followers, and a loyal international influencer and customer base, ALDO has a strong and engaged community of devotees. We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for someone who lives and breathes social media, and who is ready to engage with and grow our fan base on all platforms. ALDO\xe2\x80\x99s Social Media Coordinator will report to the Social Media Manager, the ideal candidate is a social media talent with terrific communication/organizational, reporting and creative skills. The focus of the role will be on sample management (creating seasonal sample databases, placing sample orders, keeping track of inventory & samples dispatch, as well as coordinating product) monitoring, reporting, and engagement-based tactics on ALDO\xe2\x80\x99s social channels, as well as influencer outreach and gifting (scouting new talent, database upkeep, product management and gifting mailers). The talent will also contribute to in-house content creation and copywriting. The Social Media Coordinator requires acute skills in managing priorities, multi-tasking, and showing a problem-solving attitude to the unexpected. This role supports the back-end execution & implementation of Social Media projects. Key Responsibilities
  • Engage and grow digital fan base by daily monitoring of messages, comments, tagged content and branded hashtags
  • Monitoring and managing ad-hoc influencer outreach, master database upkeep and gifting initiatives
  • Create seasonal master sample log and inventory lists to ensure internal ALDO Social Media team and its agency keep track of their respective inventory
  • Update line sheets based on timing of samples orders, dispatch of samples to agencies, reception of samples by agencies, keep inventory up to date
  • Oversee seasonal sample orders, reception and shipment of samples to Montreal head office and external agency
  • Reception, triage and ship samples in a timely manner for social agency and ongoing influencer stylist gifting initiatives
  • Follow-up on samples orders, resolve issues, provide missing information when required in a timely manner
  • Prepare shipping documents, including proformas for international shipments
  • Coordinate Store Pulls in a timely manner with ALDO stores in Canada and US for influencer seeding opportunities or for gifting opportunities
  • Build productive relationships with various departments within the ALDO Group (Buying, Product Development, Visual Merchandising, Distribution, Brand Development, Finance, Customs & Global Trade, Sales & Operations, etc.)
  • Assist the Social coordinator and manager with various projects including in-house content creation, copywriting and administration of user-generated content.
  • Ongoing tracking and monitoring of social media analytics
  • Contribution to social media copywriting, scheduling and posting across platforms

  • Bachelor\'s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • 1+ year social media/digital experience
  • Minimum of 1 years+ of experience in administrative/communications field
  • Capacity to handle a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to display maturity, discipline and strong sense of urgency
  • Attention to detail and proactive
  • Highly independent and a team player
  • Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Aptitudes on design programs such as Photoshop, Canva, Capcut an asset
