We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Social Media, Community & Influencers Director to join our Digital and Social Marketing team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance our brand presence, engage our target audience, and drive measurable results. You will play a crucial role in managing our social media platforms, creating compelling content, and fostering meaningful relationships with our online community. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and strategic individual to make a significant impact on our brand\'s online presence and contribute to our overall marketing objectives.

Social Media Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies that align with our brand identity, marketing goals, and target audience with a primary focus on Instagram (@guruenergydrink, @guruenergie), TikTok (@guruenergydrink).
  • Conduct thorough research to understand our industry landscape, competitors, and audience preferences within the social media landscape to inform tactical execution based on the overall marketing strategy.
  • Create monthly, quarterly, and annual social media plans that outline goals, content themes, and key performance indicators (KPIs) with regular performance check-ins on a daily and weekly basis.
Content Creation and Management:
  • Work alongside the Content Strategist and Creative teams to create engaging and shareable social media content across various platforms with a focus on Instagram and TikTok.
  • Collaborate with the internal creative team and external resources to develop compelling social content that aligns with our brand guidelines, content pillars, and resonates with our target audience.
  • Ensure content is optimized for each platform and consistently reflects our brand voice, values, and messaging.
Community Management and Engagement:
  • Lead our Community Manager to monitor and manage our social media channels, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Foster and nurture relationships with our online community by engaging in conversations, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for user-generated content and encourage audience participation and engagement.
Social Listening and Insights:
  • Monitor social media trends, conversations, and mentions related to our brand, industry, and competitors.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Specialist to analyze social media metrics, track KPIs, and provide regular reports and insights to measure the success and impact of social media campaigns.
  • Utilize social listening tools such as Sprout to gain insights into audience behavior, preferences, and sentiments.
Influencer Marketing and Partnerships:
  • Work alongside the Influencer Marketing Specialist to identify the right roster of influencers, brand ambassadors, and industry partners to amplify our brand reach and engagement.
  • Support influencer marketing campaigns that are active on GURU\xe2\x80\x99s main social platforms in collaboration with the Influencer Marketing Specialist
Social Media Advertising:
  • Work alongside the Marketing Specialist to ensure paid social media campaigns across various platforms are executed with social best practices to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Work alongside the Marketing Specialist and Influencer Marketing specialist to define what content from Influencers and Brand Ambassadors will be posted organically on GURU social channels and identify the right content to be allow-listed
Qualifications

At GURU we hire for personality first combined with experience and expertise.
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in social media management, preferably in a fast-paced, growing and digital-focused environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, their features, and best practices.
  • Strong creative skills with the ability to develop engaging and visually appealing social media content.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
  • Being bi-lingual, excellent command of french and english is a plus.
  • Experience in managing and engaging online communities and handling customer inquiries and feedback.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools analytics platforms, and scheduling platforms(e. g. Sprout Social, Meltwater, Social Blade, Hootesuite).
  • Familiarity with social media advertising platforms and techniques.
  • Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Passion for social media trends, digital marketing, and staying updated with the latest industry developments.
  • Sophisticated presentation skills, acute attention to detail and ownership of projects.
