Working closely with the Social Media Manager, Social Media Specialist and greater Marketing team, the Social Media Assistant (contract) will be responsible for helping the Blue Jays Social Media Team tag day-to-day content, pull data from its social listening tools, archive real-time content, help maintain the team\xe2\x80\x99s content calendar, and assist in publishing to the team\xe2\x80\x99s social media channels.
The role will be a key contributor to the Social Media Team and Marketing department in helping to collect social media insights across all platforms and in building brand affinity with the team\xe2\x80\x99s fanbase.
This position requires the ability to pull and organize data and social media content under tight deadlines, while remaining flexible on a day-to-day basis. The ideal candidate will also be a creative thinker who can ideate collaboratively with multiple stakeholders throughout the organization.
The role requires a strong knowledge of the game of baseball and a passion for the Blue Jays.
