Your mission is to make every image, every testimony stand out and make the cause shine. As the social media and web marketing manager, you will be at the heart of our digital presence. You will plan, create, and distribute authentic and strategic content, while also engaging with our online communities. You will help raise awareness of our programs, mobilize our audiences, and strengthen our brand image, in collaboration with the communications team and field staff.
Your daily routine

Social media aspect:
Participate in the development of the company's web and social media communication strategies
Plan a monthly publication calendar for each platform related to the different regions under their responsibility (Quebec, Atlantic)
Develop, write, and publish quality content consistent with our brand image
Create, edit, and optimize video content adapted to different platforms
Manage and animate online communities, moderate comments, and maintain active monitoring
Produce monthly performance reports, continuously measure and interpret results, recommend optimization actions
Stay up to date on digital trends and new technologies
Conduct competitive monitoring.
Web marketing aspect:
Design, write, and publish website content
Participate in the creation of marketing materials (Canva)
Design and send the newsletter (Constant Contact)
Optimize and manage the Portage website (WordPress)
Ensure web referencing (SEO, SEM, inbound marketing) and analyze its performance (GA4)
Participate in the development of the multi-platform marketing strategy
Collaborate with the agency for online advertising placements
Collaborate on the organization of events across the country
Ensure Portage's presence on relevant external sites
Create an annual press review
Perform any other related tasks as requested by management
Your experiences
--------------------
University degree in communications, digital marketing, or any other relevant field
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position
Fluency in French and English (must be able to converse and write in English);
Very good knowledge of social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok)
Skills in writing, graphic design (Canva), and data analysis
Mastery of SEO and digital advertising principles
Experience with WordPress and Constant Contact
Mastery of online advertising placement principles (Meta, Google Ads)
Good knowledge of marketing analysis tools (GA4)
Autonomy, initiative, resourcefulness, and excellent judgment
Good organizational skills, ability to manage priorities
Positive attitude, team spirit, and attention to detail
