We're looking for a
Social Media & Marketing Manager
who is both
strategic and hands-on
--someone who can plan, create, and execute marketing campaigns, and also pick up a camera to shoot a product reel when needed.
Role Overview
The Social Media & Marketing Manager will own HiTeck's online voice and presence across social media and other digital channels. This person will be responsible for strategy, content creation, community building, and performance analysis, with a special focus on
dental professionals and the dental industry
.
You will work closely with the leadership, customer service, and product teams to position HiTeck as a trusted, modern, and educational brand in dentistry.
Key Responsibilities. Brand, Strategy & Planning
Deeply understand HiTeck's
brand identity, values, mission, and product range
.
Learn the
competitive landscape
in dental instruments and identify opportunities to differentiate HiTeck.
Define and refine
social media goals
(growth, engagement, leads, brand awareness) aligned with company objectives.
Develop and maintain
audience personas
, especially dental professionals (dentists, hygienists, assistants, office managers) and distributors.
Build a
3-6 month content and campaign roadmap
aligned with launches, promotions, trade shows, and industry events.
2. Social Media Management & Content Creation
Manage and grow HiTeck's presence across platforms (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn; others as needed).
Create and manage a
monthly content calendar
including:
Product showcases
Educational & how-to content
Customer spotlights and testimonials
Behind-the-scenes / manufacturing content
Campaigns, offers, and launches
Take ownership of
content creation
:
Shoot and edit
high-quality photos and videos
of products, instruments, and brand-related content.
Ensure all visuals are consistent with brand guidelines and elevate the
overall visual identity
of HiTeck across social and website.
Collaborate with designers, photographers, videographers (internal or external) when needed.
3. Campaigns, Trends & Community Building
Plan and execute
organic campaigns
and initiatives to increase engagement, followers, and brand affinity.
Develop
trend-based, engaging content
, including:
Employee & team participation in relevant trends and challenges (e.g. "This or That - Dentistry Edition", "Balloon Injection Without Breaking Challenge", etc.).
Relatable and fun content that still reflects professionalism and industry relevance.
Build and nurture an
online community
of dental professionals:
Create or grow groups/communities where knowledge, cases, and tips can be shared.
Encourage conversations, respond to comments/messages, and actively engage with followers.
4. Educational & Value-Driven Content
Create and manage content series such as:
Product Showcase Series
Detailed features of individual instruments and kits.
Highlight materials, design, unique benefits, and use cases.
Use high-quality close-up imagery and clear descriptions.
Educational Videos
Short, easy-to-follow videos on:
Instrument reprocessing and sterilization
Proper handling and maintenance of instruments
The importance of using high-quality instruments in clinical practice
Dental Health Tips Series
Bite-sized tips on oral hygiene, preventive care, and busting common myths.
Content that clinics can share with patients and staff.
Tips for Dental Professionals
Practical tips related to:
Instrument care & maintenance
Optimizing instrument selection and usage during procedures
Clinical workflow efficiency
Infection Control Awareness

5. Analytics, Optimization & Reporting
Conduct regular
audits of social media performance
:
Track metrics such as reach, engagement rate, follower growth, website clicks, and lead/conversion indicators.
Prepare
weekly and monthly reports
summarizing performance, key insights, and action items.
Use data to:
Test and refine content types, posting times, and messaging.
Double down on what works and adjust what doesn't.
Continuously refine the
content calendar and strategy
based on insights and feedback.
6. Collaboration & Customer Experience
Work closely with
customer service
to:
Respond promptly to inquiries, DMs, comments, and feedback on social media.
Maintain a consistent, friendly, and professional tone.
Coordinate with the
sales and product teams
:
Align campaigns with promotions, launches, and key sales targets.
Integrate product feedback from customers into future content and messaging.

Month 2 - Execution & Optimization
Launch the first
campaigns and content series
based on Month 1 planning.
Test different
content formats
(reels, carousels, static posts, stories, lives, quizzes).
Start or strengthen
online communities/groups
for dental professionals.
Set up and follow a
weekly reporting rhythm
:
Monitor analytics, summarize results, and propose optimizations.
Integrate
customer service workflows
into social media (clear response guidelines and timelines).
Develop a
forward-looking 2-3 month content and campaign plan
informed by early results.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
2-4+ years of experience in
social media management and digital marketing
(B2B or healthcare/dental/medical is a strong asset).
Proven ability to
plan and execute social media strategies
across multiple platforms.
Strong
content creation skills
:
Comfortable shooting photos and videos (phone or camera) and editing them for social.
Proficiency in basic design and editing tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Premiere, CapCut, or similar).
Strong understanding of
analytics
(Meta Insights, TikTok Analytics, etc.) and how to translate data into action.
Excellent
written and verbal communication skills
in English.
Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Nice to Have (Assets):
Experience in the
dental, medical, or healthcare
field.
Familiarity with
e-commerce
, Shopify, or online B2B sales.
Experience working with
product-based brands
and shooting product photography.
Comfort being on camera or directing others on camera for educational or promotional content.
