Social Media & Marketing Manager
to help us share that story with professionalism, creativity, positivity, and absolute heart.
About the Role:
This
part-time contract position (approx. 10-20 hours per week)
is ideal for a marketing professional who understands the power of authentic storytelling in health care. Especially in our area.. You'll oversee our
social media, website, and online communications
, creating meaningful content that reflects our values and connects with local clients, families, and caregivers.
You'll also play a hands-on role in capturing real moments within our community -- attending events, visiting clients or caregivers (with consent), and showcasing the heart of what we do, and why.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow Wings of Care's social media presence across platforms
Develop engaging, informative content that reflects our mission and care philosophy
Update and maintain the company website and digital materials
Design and distribute newsletters, campaigns, and community updates
Attend company or community events to gather stories, photos, and videos
Support recruitment and brand awareness initiatives through online marketing
Monitor engagement analytics and adjust strategies for growth and reach
Qualifications & Skills:
Past experience in
social media management, marketing, or communications
(preferably in health care or community services)
Past experience as a
health or community care worker
(preferred, not required.)
Local
resident of the Peace Region
for at least 2-5 years
Strong written and verbal communication skills with
fluent English
Valid
driver's license
and access to reliable transportation
Understanding of
aging, dementia, holistic treatments, and health-related topics
to create relatable, sensitive, and informed consent
Proficiency with
Canva, Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, and website platforms
(WordPress, Wix, etc.)
Creative, organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
