Viking Landscaping Inc. is seeking employees for the on-call snow removal season 2025-2026. Starting at our yard for Snow Removal-Hand Shovelers then we head out to sites in company vehicles. Work is scheduled based on snow fall and hours can vary depending on weather- you must be available to come in on short notice for a shift and be prepared to work long hours.

As a team member at Viking Landscaping you would be working at residential and commercial properties throughout the city of Winnipeg and neighboring communities. Hand Shoveling and machine work for residential and commercial snow clearing- Starting wage for snow clearing- Hand Shoveler is $18/hr.

Applicants with a valid drivers license will be given priority with hiring

Work performed includes:

- Hand Shoveling

- Operation of various hand tools and light equipment

- Driving a truck

-other duties as assigned

All eligible applicants must:

-Possess a positive working attitude

- Be able to work full time hours

- Be reliable, punctual, and eager to learn

-Work well on a team

-Accept direction and instruction from Foreman or Management

- Be physically fit to perform labor- able to lift 50lbs or more

- Be able to work long days outdoors

-Possess CSA Steel Toe Boots, Hard Hat and Hi-Visibility Vest

-Have a valid class 5 drivers license or Have reliable transportation to and from the shop every day.

Wage is negotiable based on experience level; experience is an asset but not required. Willing to train and develop skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 60 per week
