Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Snow Removal Operator to efficiently manage snow removal operations during winter months. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and clear roadways, driveways, and parking lots. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment operation, safety protocols, and maintenance procedures. Prior experience with landscape maintenance, construction, or mechanical knowledge is highly valued to ensure effective and timely snow removal services.

Duties

Operate snow plow trucks and tractor and related equipment to clear snow from designated areas Conduct pre-operation inspections of plow machinery to ensure safety and functionality Utilize hand tools and power tools for minor repairs and adjustments as needed Perform routine maintenance on plow equipment, including lubrication and troubleshooting mechanical issues Assist with ice control measures such as spreading salt or de-icing agents when necessary Collaborate with team members to prioritize routes and complete snow removal efficiently Maintain detailed records of work performed and equipment used Ensure adherence to safety standards during all operations, including proper use of personal protective equipment

Experience

Prior experience operating excavators, power tools, or heavy machinery is preferred Knowledge of irrigation, gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is a plus but not required Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with construction or maintenance work are advantageous Experience in snow removal or related outdoor maintenance roles is beneficial Ability to handle hand tools and perform routine equipment maintenance effectively
