Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Snow Removal Labourer to join our team for the upcoming winter season. This role is essential in ensuring safe and accessible conditions for our clients by clearing snow and ice from our large commercial/residential properties.
The ideal candidate is punctual, physically capable, available, and able to work flexible hours during and after winter weather events and has a valid class 5 drivers license and vehicle.
This is an on call, weather dependant position with early morning start times.
This position requires physical stamina and an ability to work in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities
Clear snow and ice from designated outdoor areas using shovels, snow blowers, or other mechanical tools. Assist with ice control measures, including spreading salt or sand as needed. Ensure pathways, stairs, and entry points are safe and accessible at all times during winter weather conditions. Maintain a clear communication with site supervisors and fellow labourers regarding property progress and conditions.
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
