Snow Removal Labourer
Job Description
Diggers & Scrapers is looking to hire additional team members for the winter season. Year round work can be offered to the right individuals for the landscape season.
Labourers will be responsible for completing sidewalk snow removal at both commercial and residential properties - clearing sidewalks using backpack blowers, walk-behind sweepers, snow blowers, and shovels.
Shifts start at 5:30AM and will be 6 - 8 hours, 12 on big snow days
Requirements Include:
- Must have minimum one whole season commercial snow removal
- Must be punctual, commercial sites need to be done before opening
- On call shifts, including weekends and holidays (when it snows, we go)
- Experience with small engine equipment and snow removal of some kind
- Must have own reliable vehicle (winter tires) with a valid driver's license to get to shop
- Must be physically fit, able to lift/move 40 pounds, work long shifts
- Be prepared to work outside in winter conditions with proper clothing for extreme colds
Monthly salary guarantee for the right candidate ranging from $2,500 - 3,500 OR
Hourly rate of $25
